Contact Carla

Got a question for Carla?

Wondering what julienne means?  What kind of knife I use?  Trying to find a recipe for that yummy dish you ate at a restaurant?  What’s my favorite color?  Okay, you probably don’t care what my favorite color is, but I’m happy to answer to any question you might have about cooking!  I love to experiment and create new dishes, so just ask!

Email me at letsgetcookin@windstream.net with your questions or comments!

Thanks!

  2. Carla,

I was wondering if you know of a receipe that was told at our Weight Watchers Meeting several weeks ago. That used Cool whip and just a box of Low fat Chocolate Pudding powder. I only remember those two that goes into it and can’t remember what else if anything else goes into it. If you could pleas let me know I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks DaVona

  4. Hey Carla,
I’m a 17 year old high school student. And i live in Bowling Green, Ky. I decorate cakes on the side and I have been asked to make a cake like your bulldozer cake for a grooms cake for a wedding. I’m definately not a professional and it will be my first time to sculpt a cake. And i was just wondering if you could give me some guide lines or directions on how to sculpt it and how you did yours. I have to due date for the cake is june 24th so ifyou could get back in touch anytime before then i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this hope to hear from you soon.

  5. Your recipes look great. I want to stay on my WW goal so I’m always looking for new ideas. Especially ones that have the points calculated!! It’s so hard to do this on my own with my little blue calculator…
How many WW points plus calories are your Skinny Strawberry Cheesecake Muffins?

  6. Hello,

My name is April Faison and I am a Graphic Design Student at Georgia Southern. We are currently doing a packaging project and I was planning on using your key lime cookie recipe for one of my cookie packages. I was wondering if I could also use your pictures that are on your website for the front of the box? I would give you credit for the recipe and also the picture. Thank you so much

  7. Carla, let me tell you how happy your entry of Feb. 24 “Quick Banana Pudding Cups” made my day. The individual cups that you put the pudding in brings back so many memories of my childhood. Did you know the origin of the dishes? I would love to hear where they came from.

In our area of central Alabama the dishes came with peanut butter in them. My granny and my mother saved them so we could each have a set of the dishes. Even taller, drink glass sizes of the dishes were manufactured. I have been married 41 years and have had the dishes for at least that long.
