Skinny Cheesy Biscuit Triangles

Cheesy biscuits?  Love them.  But, they are normally packed with points.  Here’s a great low point version that is very quick to put toghether – in fact, all you need is a food processor!

Skinny Cheesy Biscuit Triangles

Serves: 6 (2 biscuits per serving)     WW Points Per Serving: 2

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2  cup white flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup part skim ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fat free buttermilk
  • 2 Tbsp reduced fat sour cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

In bowl of food processor, combine all ingredients until a dough forms.  Turn out onto a lightly floured surface; knead gently.  Roll out to a 6×9 inch rectangle.  Cut into 6 squares and cut each square diagonally to form triangles.  Place on baking sheet coated with cooking spray and bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
