A couple weeks ago, we had a few bananas that were getting quite ripe and needed to be used. I didn’t have time to make banana bread. I didn’t have the energy to make anything fancy. So, I had my seven year old fix this dessert while I prepared dinner. All I had to do was snap a few photos along the way!
All you need for these Banana Pudding Cups is:
Bananas. Cheesecake flavor instant pudding mix (Vanilla or White Chocolate flavor is good with this too). Milk. Cookies (I used animal cookies, but vanilla wafers or graham crackers will work too – just whatever you have hiding in your pantry!).
Make pudding by mixing pudding mix and 2 cups cold milk.
Set that aside and slice up a couple bananas.
Place a couple of cookies (or vanilla wafers or graham cracker pieces…whatever you’re using) in the bottom of your serving cups.
Top with a layer of pudding.
Add a few banana slices.
Repeat layers until cups are full. Be sure to end with a layer of pudding, NOT bananas – the bananas would turn brown quickly.
Voila! Banana Pudding Cups! You can eat these immediately, or chill them until ready to serve.
